About the position

We are looking for a London Based Solutions Engineer to join our team. This is a critical role at the company doing pre and post sales and customer success. This person will wear multiple hats that include running demos for potential customers, assisting customers with POC’s, running customer education sessions as well as writing technical content. In addition, the right person will have significant experience post sale and with customer success. This includes helping customers solve problems when needed, guiding customers when new features are released and expanding usage of current customers. The Solutions Engineer will report to the VP of Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with POCs to ensure successful implementations, offering strategic guidance and technical solutions.
  • Building a collaborative partnership with our sales team to provide technical expertise. Support, develop and deliver engaging, customized demos and presentations for prospective customers.
  • Customer Success- own post-sales technical engagement, ensuring smooth onboarding and driving customer success through proactive support.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, guiding them through any issues or challenges they encounter, both pre- and post-sale.
  • Actively contribute to WireMock’s strategy by providing insights from customer feedback to improve the product and the customer experience.
  • Building deep relationships with our customers during the sales process ensuring they are leveraging WireMock to its fullest potential and expanding usage across their teams  
  • Guiding customers when new features are released and expanding usage of current customers

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a customer facing Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer
  • 5+ years of experience as a developer. Hands-on coding experience, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Product knowledge, you are a subject matter expert and have significant experience in the API space. Preference for experience in the Service Virtualization/mocking space
  • Must have experience in supporting customers both in pre-sales as well as post sales/customer success
  • Clear communicator, with capability to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Have created technical content and product videos in past professional roles.
  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • Work in the office 2 days a week in our London office and be an integral part of building the culture of WireMock.
